The adoption journey cannot go forward without a home study. In Georgia, a home study consists of a minimum of four interviews, including a home visit. Our adoption professionals have the expertise to help this process go smoothly. Cradle of Love has more than a century of experience conducting domestic home studies and more than a decade of experience working with international agencies.

Home studies consist of the following:

• one interview with prospective adoptive parent(s) in our office
• one interview with each individual in our office
• one visit to the prospective adoptive parent(s) in the home

Our counselors are experienced and licensed in providing home studies.

For Georgia residents looking to adopt in another state, we will work with the Georgia Interstate Compact. We will also work with licensed international adoption programs for those looking to adopt a child or children from the country of their choice.
